Follow along with us in our series all about the fourth Gospel of John! The pursuit of developing a discipleship lifestyle is challenging, requiring commitment and dedication. God knows you better than you know yourself, He knows each of us on a personal and  intimate level. Often, because of our weak Spiritual Identity, we may ask if He sees us, or knows of our life challenges. Pastor Craig shared that God is wonderful and chooses us to be His disciples of encouragement and to exercise FAITH to share God’s LOVE with those He assigns. The Holy Spirit provides us with daily revelation and understanding for our assignments.  Through the Holy Spirit we receive Words of Knowledge. Happy Sunday! Today’s sermon, “Pure Worshippers” focused on John 2:13-25. Pastor Craig summarized our sermon with the phrase “Jesus clears the temple courts, John 2:13-25. The apostle Paul teaches that Jews and Gentiles are Reconciled in Christ.  The Apostle Paul writes in each book that everyone, regardless of who, are, in Christ, all children of God, through FAITH.  There is no Jew or Gentile separation, slave, or free, male or female, all, everyone, are one in Jesus.  If you belong to Jesus, you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the Promise.  In Ephesians, it is repeated:  “Christ is our PEACE, made the differing groups one, and destroyed the wall of separation.  He died on the cross for everyone who believes to be one new humanity, making PEACE. Pastor Craig encouraged everyone that we are called through God’s Grace to live as His royal priests and temples as taught in His Word. We are called to dedicate daily time to Him, as sacrificial moments in time for restoration and activation to empower us as His temples. We are called to demolish the bondage of our belief systems that prevent us from living as his royal priests.

Easter is this month! Follow along with us as we continue in the book of John!

Thursday Mar 21, 2024

Happy Sunday! It's almost Easter! Pastor Doug opened today’s sermon as a sneak peek for the upcoming Palm Sunday-Good Friday-Easter celebrations.   Today’s sermon is entitled “Take Off Your Grave Clothes”.  John 11:1-45.  These verses introduce and teach about how Jesus healed His friend Lazarus and the interactions He had with his siblings, Mary and Martha. Pastor Doug shared that Jesus viewed TIME with the vision of the Father. He demonstrated that waiting as He did to respond to the needs Lazarus had was an act of Love but that we wouldn’t see the results until the end of the story. Pastor Doug shared that waiting can be pregnant with God’s Presence.  Share what you think the disciples may have been thinking about how Jesus would respond to His friend’s illness, and eventually seeing how He responded to the news of his death.
